Do you ever get insecure when people complement others' kids but not yours in front of you and your kid(s)?

Is your child healthy? Is she smart and developing on time? These things are soooo much more important than curly hair or pretty eyes or whatever. Your child is wonderful and beautiful in her own way but not everyone is going to comment about her. Tight curly hair tends to draw a lot of attention, especially on little girls. The ladies who complimented your niece and nephew most likely didn't even consider you might be upset they didn't compliment your child, too. Tell your daughter how wonderful YOU think she is. At this age she really doesn't care what anyone else says or doesn't say.
