It ill take a LONG LONG TIME, since our curls do not grow straight down, they grow in a spiral! PLUS, curly hair in bangs is EXTREMELY difficult to maintain! If i were you, i'd forget the bangs and just go for multiple lengths around your face, framing in a similar way, but you wont have to commit to keeping them straight, you will keep your options open this way!
