Exclusivity Breast Pumping?

Ethel pretty much hit the nail on the head. I have had women pump and bottle feed, but it is a lot of work. Because of latch issues I had to pump and bottle feed for several months while I worked on getting my daughter to latch. It seems from what you are saying that you are a bit uncomfortable putting baby to breast. The one piece of advice I will give you is don't totally discount it, you may have a change of heart on it after baby is born. If you don't like it after you try it then try exclusive pumping. At least then you will know. As far as co-sleeping, yes some women find it easier, but it also depends on the baby. My first breast fed just fine and never co-slept. My second never slept in a crib, co-slept from birth and now at 22 months she sleeps by herself in her "big girl bed". It's good to have a plan, but don't set it in stone, just see how things play out.
