Chemically straightened hair question?

Yesterday around 7:30pm, I used Soft & Beautiful botanicals to straighten my hair. It seems to have worked nicely because when I rinsed out the chemicals like it said, my wet hair, which usually starts forming ringlets the second I get out of the shower dried straight. And when I fell asleep with dampish hair, I woke in the morning with slightly wavy hair, which was the hugest relief from my usual poof curl bed head hair! So my question is, what would happen if I took a shower befor the 48 hours I am supposed to nt shower is over? All the box said was don't shampoo hair, does that include wetting hair? Today at school, my hair looked fine but it felt horrible from the leave in condition that came with the kit and all the remaining chemicals. Tomorrow is my birthday so I want to look nice and not have discusting hair, if I wash my hair around 6:30am it will have been 36 hours not 48, will that give me bad results and make my hair curly?!!!
