Is my mom geting screwed in divorce?

My parents are going through a bitter divorce after my dad divorced my mom after 20 years of cheating didn't get rid of her... Now he is dragging out this legal battle so my mom will have to spend money she doesn't have... She was cheated on, physically and verbally abused, left to deal with broken bones by herself after he spilled his motorcycle on her ankle and broke it, he kicked her while she was down while calling her names about her weight... She wasn't allowed to work when we kids were growing up and now she faces a difficult time making money as she has no acquired skills after accepting her role as a stay-at-home mom... My dad currently controls the distribution of money as it comes directly from his pension, which was decreed to have to be split, but until the QDRO is completed she has to wait for him to put the money in, which he does at his leisure claiming he can't afford her half of the money on time all while taking his fiance out on smallish vacations and road trips, a fiance he proposed to before their divorce was even complete... It just seems like he is winning this battle but since he cheated I thought they'd rake HIM over the coals... What can my mom do, a defenseless woman who can't afford another $6k in lawyer fees... It seems like she paid this lawyer to do very little and is still in a bad position... What can we do?
