Small engine questions?

Hey I'm trying to fix my gokart engine and learn about how the engine works while I do it, since I'm basically teaching myself. I've taken off the engine covers and the exhaust, and uscrewed all screws relating to what I think is the top of the cylinder head that is supposed to be able to be removed. 1. My first question is what is that little black box with the hoses coming out of it that's showing at 0:24 in the video? 2. What part of the cylinder head comes off so I can see the piston?!!? I cannot seem to figure it out anywhere, I thought it was the very top maybe an inch into it?? 3. Any suggestions on how to get this thing unlocked??

My second never slept in a crib, co-slept from birth and now at 22 months she sleeps by herself in her "big girl bed". It's good to have a plan, but don't set it in stone, just see how things play out.

It ill take a LONG LONG TIME, since our curls do not grow straight down, they grow in a spiral! PLUS, curly hair in bangs is EXTREMELY difficult to maintain! If i were you, i'd forget the bangs and just go for multiple lengths around your face, framing in a similar way, but you wont have to commit to keeping them straight, you will keep your options open this way! My flywheel on my 8hp engine is stuck, please help?

Hey I have a 8hp gokart thats been having starting problems with the key ignition(this was the problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17R2z2fvi8s) and I just finally found out it has a pullstart too that just had a broken string. I removed the pullstarter and found a little string left but the spring wasn't recoiling right. I handwound the string and put the pullstart back on, trying to start it and it sounded like it wanted to start. I tried this few times, then decided to start trying to fix the spring recoil and string instead so I could give it a real pull. A few minutes later I tried turning the flywheel by hand, and its NOT MOVING AT ALL! Im afraid the engines locked up. I removed the sparkplug and it looks like the pistons at the top. Can anyone explain in detail a few steps to try to take and see if it will break free? Ive read you can pour oil into the sparkplug hole(not sure how much?) and that could free it. Its low on oil and Im going to put some more in it, but would that be an immediate solution to the problem or would it be something else? Please explain any suggestions/steps you have, I really appreciate it! Im not worried about fixing the starter or electrical right now, I just want to get that flywheel loose so I know its not seized!

Should i texturize my natural hair?

Dyed my hair out of a box and lost all my natural curls! HELP?!?

I have NEVER dyed my hair out of a box until one moment of weakness I caved. I dyed it a golden blonde and it KILLED all my natural curly hair. I only dyed the top half because the bottom is dark and it still curls, however the top was all stringy and strawy feeling. No curls what so ever. Recently i chopped almost 7 inches off and my hair is now above my shoulders. I did this in hopes of cutting off most of the damaged hair and getting my bouncy ringlets back, however my hair sometimes waves a little, but otherwise just dries frizzy straight with some waves, its just awkward. I have this same problem! Just use a spray bottle and fill it up with water. Then put in about a 1/2 or 1 tsp of kosher salt. It really works! It keeps your hair's curls (also scrunching your hair throughout the day will help)

How can I lock my door?

I just moved into my new house (college student) and I have a problem with my bedroom door. Apparently there's no holes drilled for modern day doorknobs. The house was built in the 1890's and lock/doorknob look like it. The key hole for the seized up lock looks like a "pirate key." So i was a bit freaked out, and my mom also said she felt like she was being watched, and she felt as if someone was standing right around the corner constantly.. So when my mom told me this and she left i had a bit of an anxiety attack then all of a sudden, my motion censored alarm clock beeps.. For this thing to beep, you have to wave your hand directly over it. When it beeped i turned around, and nothing was around it. What do you guys think?

I have a weird shade of hair color, its somewhere between brown and blond, kind of like a really light brown, Ive heard people call it "tawny-brown" before but Im not really sure what that means. Its pretty straight, gets a little wavy sometimes, but not really wavy. My husband has very dark brown hair, almost black, its pin straight and has a very soft texture to it so it fluffs up. Our kids go both ways, My eldest son has his fathers hair, only a tiny bit wavy like mine, our second son has my hair, but really straight like his fathers, our daughter has his hair, but wavier, and our youngest daughter has very blond wavy hair, our moms both have blond hair so she must get it from them.

Oh Lily, it's morning which means the pain is pretty bad. Doc thinks I have a sacroiliac joint disfunction and I probably have a radio frequency ablation, or neurotomy in my future, but he wants to try other things first. At this point I'm willing to do anything to get my life back. In the meantime, I take vicodin but only when I can't stand it. I do use ice.

I replaced the engine on a 1999 chevy silverado and it was cranking but won't start cause of no spark found out it was the ignition control module replaced it and then it tried to start up.then died out then tried to start it again and then it seized up. Chemically straightened hair question?

Yesterday around 7:30pm, I used Soft & Beautiful botanicals to straighten my hair. It seems to have worked nicely because when I rinsed out the chemicals like it said, my wet hair, which usually starts forming ringlets the second I get out of the shower dried straight. And when I fell asleep with dampish hair, I woke in the morning with slightly wavy hair, which was the hugest relief from my usual poof curl bed head hair! So my question is, what would happen if I took a shower befor the 48 hours I am supposed to nt shower is over? All the box said was don't shampoo hair, does that include wetting hair? Today at school, my hair looked fine but it felt horrible from the leave in condition that came with the kit and all the remaining chemicals. Tomorrow is my birthday so I want to look nice and not have discusting hair, if I wash my hair around 6:30am it will have been 36 hours not 48, will that give me bad results and make my hair curly?!!! Small engine questions?

Hey I'm trying to fix my gokart engine and learn about how the engine works while I do it, since I'm basically teaching myself. I've taken off the engine covers and the exhaust, and uscrewed all screws relating to what I think is the top of the cylinder head that is supposed to be able to be removed. 1. My first question is what is that little black box with the hoses coming out of it that's showing at 0:24 in the video? 2. What part of the cylinder head comes off so I can see the piston?!!? I cannot seem to figure it out anywhere, I thought it was the very top maybe an inch into it?? 3. Any suggestions on how to get this thing unlocked??

Once you have curled your hair, try running your fingers or a light brush through it to take away the perfect curls and you should be left with the curls that she has, also try curling your hair in different ways, so that the curls turn out in different directions. This will also help it look more like hers. Failing that, you can always just tie your hair into many different little small buns when it is wet, sleep with it and in the morning your hair should look more like hers and then you can take it from there. My hair constantly changing naturally every couple of years...?

Well, my hair constantly changes. When I was a baby my hair was really curly. It was filled with ringlets. then on the course of becoming 4 it started to become straight and then by the time i was about 7 it was pin straight. Then by the time i was like 9 it started to become poofy and frizzy. I'm a teenager now and my hair is still poofy and frizzy. Its weird how it changes constantly and if there is anyway i could change it back to how it was curly or when it was pin straight. Swimmers ear, or Ear infection?

Okay so 2 days ago my mom took me to the doctor and she pushed on the back of my ear and it hurt and then said it was swimmers ear. She gave me a prescription for ear drops that i picked up directly afterwards. I've been using those drops since she gave them to me just like the directions say to do but i don't think they work at all because I put them in my ear and it just sits there. My ear is swollen it looks bigger then the other one, touching it puts me in excruchiating pain and same with pulling on my ear lobe, it feels like there's something blocking it and infected right behind that little hole in your ear.

Toyota Celica rear axle seized?

I overheated the engine (separate problem) & still was able to drive & park it for a few days. I came back a few days later & the back wheels are locked up. The car is front-wheel drive. It is not the regular disc brakes (we took the caliper off one side with no change). We are pretty sure it isn't the emergency brake (it seems to be working fine) & it isn't the clutch. It goes into gear & "tries" to go, but the rear wheels won't let it budge more than a centimeter. Suggestions? It appears the rear axle is seized, but I have no idea how it could have happened or how to fix it. I can't even tow it!

I have an Home AC Unit. Though the compressor turns on the fan will not. Please read my further comments.?

I tested the capacitor to see if that could be the problem. It is a dual start capacitor, with both the compressor and the fan hooked up to it. I don't have a capacitance tester so I used my multimeter and tested the ohms. Both portions of the capacitor started out at 0 and as they charged from the multimeter went to infant ohms as expected on a good capacitor. The capacitor does not appear to be blown or bubbled at the top though it is extremely rusty for being only 4 years old. I also pulled the fan motor off the AC Unit and checked the resistance in the motor. There are only 3 wires coming out so I tested all three which added up to what equates to a good motor. Beyond this I just can't figure out why the dang fan won't start. The bearings on the fan seem fine as well. They do not feel seized up. The blade spins fairly freely. The only thing I can thing is to check the relay swith. How can I tell if that is bad?

I would stick as close to the way you normally wear your hair. Maybe bring the sides up with a clip or something. You go too extreme with a hairstyle that you don't normally wear and you will be uncomfortable all evening. The dress is pretty and has a lot of bling on the front near the neckline so probably simple drop earrings in silver would look good.
